Welcome to
The Pineapple Post

We're so glad you're here!

It means so much to us that you chose to stay with us at The Pineapple Post! Here is all of the information you'll need for your stay. If you have questions about the property or need anything, please contact us. We want to do everything we can to make sure you have the very best experience while you're here!

Welcome!

You made it! We hope your travels were safe and and enjoyable—and now the fun starts! We're so glad you're spending your vacation here.

For us, making it to the beach is either a long day of air travel or a really, really long day roadtripping. So we know what it's like to feel pooped before your vacation even starts. Our little "welcome shelf" as we've come to call it is stocked with the things you need as soon as you walk in the door, but maybe don't have the energy to unpack (or go buy) just yet. Whether it's sunscreen, a swim diaper or a pair of shades, please take what you need. We just ask that at the end of your trip if you have any extras that you don't need or can't haul back home, you leave them for the next tired travelers. Kind of a pay-it-forward kind of deal, ya know?

Get connected

First things first—you'll find the Wi-Fi login information on the white "welcome shelf" in the living room.

Once you're connected, you can log into any of your streaming accounts on any of the TVs.

House rules

We kinda hate this part. It feels like we're kids having a party saying "my mom is going to freak out if you do that." But it turns out, we're the grown ups and we really hate freaking out. We want you to make yourself at home, help yourself to everything we have to offer and, most of all, have fun! We really want you to feel like you're staying with a friend—and in turn, we hope you'll treat our space and belongings like you would a friend's.

Just to make sure we're on the same page, here are a few things we'd like you to keep in mind.

  • Maximum occupancy is eight guests.

  • No smoking of any kind (including vaping). Any evidence of smoking may result in additional cleaning fees.

  • Quiet time, per a city ordinance, is strictly enforced from 10:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. daily.

  • Parking is available in the driveway and in one designated spot directly across from the driveway. Parking is permitted in unassigned spots near the complex entrance, if available.

  • All trash placed in outdoor receptacles must be bagged.

  • When wearing wet clothing, wet swimwear and/or suntan oil, please use a towel to sit on furniture.

  • Please do not leave any wet items (clothing, swimsuits, towels, etc.) on the hardwood floors upstairs. Excessive moisture will cause the floors to buckle which will result in a damage fee. Don't worry—we've made it easy to keep things hung up off of the floor! There are hooks available outside the front and back doors, inside the front door, and in every bedroom and bathroom. There are also hangers available in the laundry closet.

  • If you head out on an adventure, please up the thermostat to 75 (or turn it down to 67 in the winter months). Please also double check that lights, TVs, appliances and other electronics are turned off.

  • Please respect our home and do your best to keep it clean. We know you will! And we also know that accidents happen. Please clean up any spills or messes quickly to avoid stains and in the event that something gets broken or damaged, please let us know about it as soon as possible. We want to be able to take care of it before our nexts guests arrive.

Beach, please.

Every vacation rental boasts about its beach access, but the proximity to the white sand and blue waves of Miramar Beach is really what sold us on this place. We know that just a few blocks can feel like running a marathon when you're hauling kids, coolers, boogie boards, sandcastle supplies and everything else but the kitchen sink. We're serious when we say it's a five minute walk to public beach access—and we've noted our go-to tips and tricks for the smoothest sailing.

  • Don't forget sunscreen. No, really—bring it with you. The Florida sun is fierce. We hate to sound bossy, but reapply early and often!

  • Use the wagon. We know, we know—you don't have that much to carry and it's not that far. Even if you're the Incredible Hulk, after a few hours (or a few drinks), the walk home seems longer and the load seems heavier.

  • When you're packing your cooler, keep in mind that no glass is allowed on the beach. There are plenty of plastic cups and stainless steel tumblers in the kitchen if you need them! Don't forget to throw in a couple of coolie cups.

  • The beach blanket is a lifesaver. It has pockets in the cornersshove a few handfuls of sand in each and you're good to go. When you're ready to leave, the sand falls right off.

For a rainy day...

We hope the weather cooperates during your stay, but if you end up with a day like Peppa's wedding day (you've seen Encanto, right?), here are our suggestions for passing the time!

  • But seriously, have you seen Encanto? If not, start there. You can log into Disney+ on any of our TVs. If Bruno-no-no-no isn't for you, log into Hulu, Netflix, Amazon Prime—or any other streaming service—and find something more your speed to binge watch.

  • Forget the latest Xbox or PlayStation—we have the ultimate throwback gaming system. Play any old school game from every old school device you can think of. Our personal favorites are Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins (from the OG GameBoy) and Crash Bandicoot.

  • If you are experiencing a little cabin fever and need to get out, we recommend Uncle Buck's Fishbowl & Grill for an "underwater" bowling experience. Big hit with the kids!

  • If shopping is more your vibe, you're in luck! Silver Sands Premium Outlets are five minutes away.
